We have a choice of rooms, suites or apartments for everyone. All are spacious and designed to maximise your comfort. The wooden furniture is hand made in Landol and each room is individually decorated with special items we brought back from our world travels! The bathrooms are luxurious with wide, glass walled, walk in showers.

We made each room design, space and set up deliberately different to the others so we can offer lots of accommodation options..

Generally, couples or friends can choose from a comfy "Double" (double bed) or "Twin" (2 single beds) room or our larger luxury "RelaxRoof suite".. but there is no reason why a couple could not take one of our self catering apartments too!

Families or groups of friends can select from our spacious "Family suite", our "Nanos Self catering apartment", or our brand new "Stable One self catering apartment".. we also have a smaller "Family room" for a few nights if the 2 kids are are little ones.. 

We have a new "Lipizzaner Loft self catering apartment" available for families of up to 3 kids with a separate bedroom for parents..

Another very popular family or friends option is to book a Double next to a Twin room.. We have put a privacy door in front of and leading to a Double room next to a Twin room for another 2+2 choice!

Wherever possible eating is outside at the Lodge! Most rooms have breakfast included and breakfast is also available as an option for guests in our self catering apartments. We offer an evening meal at 7pm for those guests who have notified us at least the day before..

You can see either a church or mountain, (usually both), from every single window in the Lodge and we have more outdoor terraces than rooms! You have a huge choice of shady, sunny and covered terraces, a guest balcony and lots of quiet places in our garden to sit, relax and enjoy the view of the last mountain in Slovenia, Nanos at 1,313m or maybe watch a Lipzzaner training.. 

A little more detail on the rooms..

Our huge Nanos Self Catering Apartment is on two floors, with 2 bathrooms, lounge, kitchen & long private balcony, whilst our Family Suite has our "kids' favourite" wooden triple bunk bed, (big enough to sleep 3 adults), with two separate sleeping rooms, private balcony and panoramic mountain views.

We also have a smaller "Family Room" option for shorter stays, with hand made wooden bunk bed for a young family of 2 + 2, with small children.

Depending on the dynamics of the family and kid's ages, some families prefer to book 2 rooms next to each other.. rather conveniently, we have our 2 double rooms next to the 2 twin rooms, so many families have taken the option to book a double room next door to a twin room in a quiet corner of the Lodge, so the whole family can be together, but sleep and shower apart! (The 2 rooms downstairs also have their own private front door, so you can leave the 2 room doors open if you prefer).

We also have a huge "Stable One" Self Catering Apartment with parents bedroom, lounge, kitchen, washing machine, luxury bathroom, aircon, a secret bedroom upstairs in the barn for 3 kids, upper private balcony and private garden terrace!

In addition to our 4 double or twin rooms, we also have a spacious RelaxRoof used as a luxury suite for 2 romantic persons, with private sauna, changing room, luxury bathroom and large open plan bedroom with mini lounge!

We made a specific decision to have two of the guest rooms on the ground floor so we can also cater for guests not comfortable climbing stairs and one of these rooms is also an extra wide wheelchair access bedroom.

Lobby and library clocks are set to 4pm at Lipizzaner Lodge cos it is ALWAYS a great time for a cup of tea!

Our new Lipizzaner Loft apartment has aircon throughout as it takes up about half of our stables roof!

Mum & Dad get their own bedroom and the kids get a hand made wooden bunk bed next door with an extra roll out bed for kid no 3! 

There is a lovely bathroom with spacious walk in shower and a lounge with open kitchen.

You can decide whether to eat inside in the lounge or outside on the large balcony where there is a nother family tabe and space to enjoy the morning sunshine or relax in the evening shade.
