Yes, we have teamed up with one of Slovenia's top E Bike adventure firms ROCKVELO, so we can offer Guests the very latest E Bike MTB's at our new Rockvelo hub!

We will have these new bikes permanently based at the Lodge AND access to Rockvelo's E Bike network, so the message is.. BOOK AHEAD and get biking!

whether it is a drop off or a rescue, as part of the Rockvelo network, we are prepared to help you!

What do I get when I rent a Rockvelo E Bike?

You get the very latest, top of the range E mountain Bike when you rent a mountain bike from Lipizzaner Lodge..

Your E Bike is juiced up on electricity collected from the sun on our stables roof and a full daily charge can take you up to 60km!

All rentals come with Rockvelo helmet and a neat rucksack, stuffed with tools, lock and pump..

Free adventure maps for all the secret Green routes we have found here to explore within E Bike striking distance of the Lodge..

So your chosen route for the day is mapped onto your phone, which fits onto a secure holder on the bike handlebar..

And cos you book on the Ap, Rockvelo also know your location throughout the day, in case of rescue!

These E Bikes are serviced and maintained by Rockvelo mechanics..

there are so many more fantastic locations you can reach now from the Lodge with your E Bike..

How do I rent an E Bike from the Lodge?

Simple.. Guests can either ask us to book the bikes out ahead for them, or you can do it yourself by using the Rockvelo booking ap on your phone!

We have been sending our guests just around the corner on the other side of Nanos mountain over to Alex and the Rockvelo team in the stunning Vipava valley for years now to either rent E bikes or go on a Rockvelo tour in Slovenia's biggest Green secret!

We totally trust Rockvelo to find the best routes for our guests in a safe and secure environment..

Here at the Lodge we always try to give our Guests the very best that Green Slovenia has to offer, so it is completely logical to have these sensational E Bikes stationed at the Lodge..

It also means that E Bikes are now available to rent on the Postojna side of Nanos mountain, so well known tourist targets like Predjama castle and Postojna cave can appear on your radar.. but of course there are so many more Green Secrets for you to find here too!

with our new bike carrier, we can also drop you off at Secret locations and you can spend the day exploring and E biking back to the Lodge!

Sensational Secret Green Routes to Explore from the Lodge!

Yep, having these E bikes available here at the Lodge now means guests can easily reach so many of the unkown caves, disappearing lakes, a secret rock park , Rapunzel's tower or go up several different mountains.. you could even reach a secret WW2 Partisan hospital hidden away in the forest!

We will log ALL these routes on an ap for you to choose where you explore for the day!

As part of our Go Green strategy for the Lodge, we sincerely hope that Guests can now take an E bike out for the day instead of their gas guzzling car.. not only do you not use any non renewable resources, but it is so much more fun to explore Green Slovenia by bike!
