There is a choice of room for everyone. Each guest room is individually decorated with items we have sent back from our world travels. We named each room after our favourite places en route.. so we have a Guatemala, Finland, Australasia, Bolivia and Thailand room.

It's quite funny that when people book, we don't necessarily know which country you come from and so very often we can get an Ozzie couple staying in our "Darwin" Australian room! But funnily enough, this is quite literally what we are trying to achieve at the Lodge.. to give you a home from home!

We have tried to create a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere for you to enjoy in your room.. so you will find comfy seats, plenty of storage space for your things and a neat foldaway table which can be used for reading, parking your glass of Slovenian wine or cup of fresh coffee or using the WiFi.

All showers are walk in, with big glass walls and plenty of space to do a little dance if you want!

All rooms are light with big windows and it's a fact we are very proud of here at Lipizzaner Lodge, that you can see at least one different church or mountain (mostly both) from every single guest window!

Additionally, every window has a fitted invisible insect screen.. We don't actually get many mosquitoes here, as the summers are mostly dry and hot, but on the rare occasions there are a few mozzies around, you can still have your window open at night to enjoy the cool evening air from the local Nanos mountain.

Each room has a nice big TV and you can borrow a DVD player so if you feel like it you can chill out and watch telly or choose from one of our over 1,200 films on DVD.

Pretty much all of the wooden furniture in each room, including beds, wardrobes and tables have been specially hand made in Landol for us, only the comfy chairs come from a bit further away.. 20 mins!

Every room is different so if you specifically want a fridge in your room, you can choose our RelaxRoof suite or one of the apartments. Our new Stable One apartment has a washing machine for example and the Family suite, Nanos Apartment, Lipizzaner Loft and Stable One all have private balconies.

But we have lots and lots of terraces around the Lodge and a comfy balcony for all our guests to enjoy, we can also wash your stuff for a fee if you are on a longer trip and there is no problem storing medical items or important fresh stuff in our private fridge for you!
