A long weekend in Slovenia really opens up other airport possibilities to you for your rugby weekend, such as Trieste in north Italy, Ljubljana in Slovenia and even Klagenfurt in Austria. This might well make the flight a little cheaper for a peak rugby weekend rather flying into Venice or Treviso, but our pick up offer also applies for these airports. The Treviso stadium is a lovely family venue, with a grandstand on one side and concrete terrace on the other. You are really close to the action and as far as temperatures go, is probably one of the warmest venues in European rugby.

The prices for the long concrete terrace are excellent, there is a beer tent serving Guinness and yummy snacks close by. Be sure to admire the cushions the locals bring in typical Italian spectator style to sit on and watch the match!
